Activity Ideas

Volunteer

Students can offer tutoring services to younger students in areas like math, science, or English. They can organize after-school tutoring sessions for struggling peers or elementary school students. Students can volunteer to serve meals at homeless shelters or help sort and distribute food at food banks or soup kitchens.

Community mentorship

High school students can help guide elementary or junior high students through providing academic advice or school transitions.

Support food Drives

Students can organize food drives at school or within their neighbourhoods. They can collect non-perishable items to help those in need.

Community Cleanup

Students can organize trash pickup events in parks or local neighbourhoods.

Help out a neighbour

Students can volunteer to help their neighbours with daily tasks like shopping, cleaning, yard work, or transportation for their neighbours who may need help with daily tasks.

Support Charities

Students can organize events like bake sales to raise funds for a specific charity. They can set up donation stations at school events, school games, or community gatherings. Students can also collect items such as clothing, books, or toys, setting up donation bins around the school and organize a drop off at the chosen charity.
